BETWEEN CHECKOUT AND CHECK-IN
Airbnb Cleaning
in Las Vegas.
Ready for the next guest, with a clear turnover plan.
One guest checks out and the next arrival is already on your calendar. Between used linens, bathrooms, kitchen surfaces and floors, there is a lot to handle before you welcome someone new.
One guest space or several properties
MORE THAN A ROOM CLEAN
A turnover is cleaning
plus a reset.
You also need a clear plan for bedding, towels, supplies, access, and how the property should look when the visit ends.
Start with a checklist for
- The rooms, bathrooms and beds included
- Cleaning tasks for each guest departure
- Where fresh linens and towels are stored
And confirm
- Any agreed restocking or presentation tasks
- Entry instructions and the available cleaning window
- Who to contact if access, condition or timing changes
Photos help
- Show your preferred bed setup
- Show the room arrangement you want
- Confirm the details before the first visit
THE TURNOVER CHECKLIST
What Airbnb
cleaning includes.
The checklist covers accessible guest areas and the reset tasks agreed in your quote. Owner storage, locked spaces, outdoor areas and specialist work need separate instructions.
Bedrooms & sleeping areas
- Remove used bed linens from the agreed beds
- Place used linens in the designated collection area
- Make beds using clean, correctly sized host-supplied linens
- Dust accessible nightstands, dressers and clear surfaces
- Clean accessible mirrors
- Vacuum carpets and rugs or mop suitable hard floors
- Arrange agreed pillows and throws to your setup instructions
Include every sleeping space, sofa beds and bunk beds included. Washing and off-site linen service are separate from changing bedding.
Bathrooms
- Clean toilets, sinks, faucets and vanity surfaces
- Clean accessible showers, tubs and shower doors
- Clean mirrors
- Wipe suitable handles and cabinet fronts
- Remove used towels to the agreed collection area
- Place fresh host-supplied towels as agreed
- Empty wastebaskets and clean suitable floors
Mention heavy buildup or extra bathrooms before booking. See bathroom cleaning.
Kitchen
- Clean accessible countertops and backsplash surfaces
- Clean the sink and faucet
- Wipe appliance exteriors and the accessible stovetop
- Spot-wipe suitable cabinet fronts and handles
- Remove loose crumbs and everyday surface residue
- Empty wastebaskets using the agreed arrangement
- Vacuum or sweep, then mop suitable floors
Dish handling, leftover food removal and appliance interiors need a defined scope. See kitchen cleaning.
Living & dining areas
- Dust accessible tables, furniture tops and clear shelves
- Wipe suitable dining tables and hard-surface seating
- Clean accessible mirrors and suitable glass tabletops
- Wipe agreed door handles and light switch plates
- Vacuum accessible rugs and carpets
- Sweep and mop suitable hard flooring
- Return agreed cushions and lightweight items to place
Heavy furniture movement and deep upholstery cleaning are outside this checklist.
Not included by default: supply purchasing, full inventory checks and damage inspections. Pools, hot tubs, exterior areas, repairs, pest treatment, hazardous cleanup and junk removal are outside this interior cleaning service. This service is not affiliated with or certified by Airbnb.
BETWEEN STAYS
Add deeper cleaning
when there is time.
Routine turnovers may not allow for every detailed task. Confirm availability and pricing before adding these to a scheduled turnover.
For detail work across the property, explore deep house cleaning and schedule it as a separate or extended appointment rather than inside a turnover window.

AGREE THESE SEPARATELY
Linens, laundry
and restocking.
These tasks affect the time needed between guests, so include them in the request.
Bed and towel changes
- Bed sizes, quantities and fresh stock location
- The used-linen collection point
- Enough clean sets for the confirmed plan
Laundry
- On-site: machine access, load count and time allowed
- Off-site linen service: whether available, collection and return
- Both are separate from changing bedding
Restocking & reporting
- Host-supplied toiletries and paper, storage and quantity
- Dish handling and leftover food instructions
- Completion photos or visible-issue notes, if requested
TIMING MATTERS
Planning back-to-back
guest stays.
Share both checkout and check-in times when requesting a turnover.
- 01
Send both times.
The available window needs to account for property size, bed count, bathrooms, condition, and any laundry or extras.
- 02
Treat same-day as a request.
Same-day turnover should only be expected once the appointment and scope are confirmed. A calendar entry does not confirm a booking.
- 03
Give us a contact.
If guests leave late, the unit needs more work, or linen stock is missing, provide a host or manager who can respond during the visit.
- 04
Agree the changes.
Confirm how additional work and timing changes will be handled before the first turnover.
WHAT SHAPES THE PRICE
Priced on the reset,
not just the rooms.
A one-bedroom unit with a single bed needs a different scope from a larger home with several sleeping areas and multiple laundry loads.
The main factors
- Property size and bathroom count
- Number and type of beds being reset
- Condition after the guest stay
What adds time
- Linen changes and any agreed laundry
- Restocking, dish handling and other extras
- Parking, building access and scheduling
Ask up front
- The base turnover scope and optional charges
- How extra cleaning and waiting time are priced
- What happens when supplies are missing

BEFORE WE GET STARTED
Turnover cleaning
questions, answered.
Is Airbnb cleaning the same as regular house cleaning?
Both involve room cleaning, but a turnover may also include bed changes, towel placement, and other agreed preparations for incoming guests. Those tasks and the available time window should be listed in the quote.
Can you handle same-day checkout and check-in?
Request availability with both times and the complete task list. A same-day turnover needs a confirmed appointment and enough time for the agreed work. It is not guaranteed before booking.
Are laundry and fresh linens included?
The bed reset uses clean linens supplied by the host. Washing, drying, and off-site linen services need separate confirmation. Include load counts and machine details if requesting on-site laundry.
Can you restock toiletries and paper products?
Ask to include this in your quote. Specify the host-supplied items, where they are stored, and how much to place. Buying supplies is not included by default.
Do you send photos after cleaning?
Request completion photos before booking and confirm the reporting method and views required. Do not assume photo reporting is included unless it is part of the agreed service.
What happens if guests leave damage or unusual mess?
Provide instructions for contacting the host about visible concerns or work beyond the checklist. Additional cleaning requires an agreed scope and price. Cleaning does not include a full damage inspection, repairs, or guest dispute handling.
Can you manage bookings automatically from my calendar?
Calendar syncing and automated scheduling are not part of this service. Agree on how turnover dates will be submitted and confirmed before relying on a schedule.
Can you clean while I manage the property remotely?
You can request service with authorized access and a clear host checklist. Confirm supply locations, a responsive contact, completion communication, and how the property should be secured afterward.
